Hi, I’m Tara, so happy you’re here!

I’m a proud mom, wife, and the storyteller behind Tara Brady Photo, capturing the beauty of everyday moments. Oklahoma has always been home, there’s something about this place, its people, and its pace that just feels right. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve poured my heart into photographing families, newborns and children, and now small schools. My photography business has grown with me, evolving alongside motherhood, creativity, and connection.

My work is rooted in storytelling—capturing the small, fleeting moments that make up your real life. Whether I’m photographing a family snuggled up on their couch, a newborn yawn in the soft morning light, or a child showing off their one of a kind personality, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel genuine, timeless, and true to you.

In 2023, I launched Modern School Photos, which started as a gift to my own son’s school—a way to bring the natural, relaxed style of my family sessions into school photography. It’s now become a meaningful way to serve small schools in the area including nature-based programs, homeschool hybrids, and Mother’s Day Out communities. I believe every child deserves to be seen and celebrated just as they are.

I shoot primarily with natural light, but I’m also trained in off-camera and studio lighting so I can adapt to any setting without sacrificing warmth or authenticity. My favorite sessions are the ones where people feel at ease—where you can just be, and trust that I’ll take care of the rest.
